Privacy, in plain words.
This note covers the Tross Business Automation website and its enquiry form. It’s short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive what you type into the form: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. We also note which page you sent it from and when.
This website doesn’t use advertising trackers or marketing cookies.
Why we collect it
Only to reply to your enquiry and talk with you about your business. We don’t add you to a mailing list and we don’t send marketing you didn’t ask for.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is emailed to Colin Tross at Tross Business Automation. It passes through the services we use to run the website and our email (Cloudflare and Microsoft 365), which handle it on our behalf. We never sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we’re talking with you, and while we have a reason to (for example, if you become a client). After that, we delete it.
Seeing, changing or removing your details
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time. Email colin@tross.com.au and we’ll take care of it.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, please tell us first so we can put it right; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
